Mood Support Diet

A diet to help improve your mood:

1. eat foods high in potassium, such as:

low-sodium V8 juice
reduced fat potato chips
tomato soup
sun-dried tomatoes
french fries
hash browns
hulled hemp seeds
etc.

You don’t need to eat all of the above foods. As an example, one 10-oz glass of low-sodium V8 juice and 3 ounces of potato chips would be sufficient for a day’s worth of potassium.

2. take a chelated magnesium supplement 100 mg per capsule, 3 capsules per day.
For example: Advanced Magnesium

3. In addition, eat a normal healthy diet.

That’s all. Three steps to improve mood. I would emphasize the high-potassium foods for the first month, then cut back to a more moderate maintenance level of potassium. Do NOT take potassium supplements. Get your potassium from your diet.
